Automatic number plate recognition
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) is a video analysis application that, via Smartvisor , reads license plates and other vehicle markings to integrate this data into safety and operational procedures of the site. Smartvisor automates access systems such as barriers, vehicle entry and exit times in video recordings, arrival notifications, and vehicle tracking through toll gates or checkpoints. Access by automatic license plate recognition is easy, hands-free access that does not have need of a badge or remote control.

In addition to the country, Smartvisor recognizes the types of registration, for example for Tunisia it recognizes the following types : Normal plate, administrative plate, government plate, RS plate
